Creating a SailSys account

Increasingly it is necessary to have a SailSys account if racing or crewing at a club that uses SailSys. If you are a boat owner then you will need to have an account to enter your boat and manage your entry. If the club is asking skippers to maintain crew lists, then as a crew person you, will also need an account.

An account can be very basic, or you can fill in all your sailing info. 

The basic information that nearly all clubs require is:

1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Email - the unique identifier on our platform. That means an email can only be used for a single SailSys account. 
4. Mobile number
5. Emergency Contact Name, and
6. Emergency Contact Number

That is just 6 pieces of info to assist your club.

To create an account you have 2 options;

1. go to https://app.sailsys.com.au/register to register, or
2. you have received an invite from a skipper, then you can click the link in that email to do the same.

If you take option one, assuming a skipper uses the same email as on your SailSys account, then the system will link any past or future invite to your account.
