Why do I have to submit boat documents/file multiple times?

Each Club is individually responsible for collecting what seems to be the same information. i.e. insurance certificates or safety audit certificates. Hence they may ask for different information at different times.

One might ask for an insurance certificate; another might ask for the certificate plus an expiration date and a declaration that the cover extends to offshore racing. This is the Club's prerogative.

Importantly each Club needs its record of compliance at the moment in time... this is what SailSys provides them. An accurate, auditable record of an entrants compliance submission.

Therefore, if you have submitted your documents at one Club, you will still likely need to do it for another club that you race at.

Some features make this as easy as possible, like saving files/documents to your boat profile so that it is effortless to add them to a compliance submission.
