How do I delete my credit card details?

When you pay via credit card on SailSys, the transaction information is collected by Stripe (our payment gateway partner) using their embedded API product called Checkout, along with any entry information (price, email and entry token etc) provided by SailSys.


Stripe validates the card and processes the financial transaction then passes the entry token back to SailSys with confirmation of successfully charging the card or if it was declined, amongst other possible outcomes.


If you previously elected to “save card for future payments”, then this is stored with Stripe, not SailSys. Stripe only passes back a customer token and the last four digits of the card so that the 'Checkout' form can be populated when do another transaction.


Your Club(s) has a direct relationship with Stripe for online payments. SailSys does not sit between the two parties. The Club has access to its dashboard provided by Stripe. 


From there they can facilitate the delete of your payment details.


SailSys never sees, nor stores credit card details.
